About the Talk:
In this webinar, Prof. Deepak Malhotra will share key lessons from his book, Negotiating the Impossible, which won the Outstanding Book Award by the International Association of Conflict Management. (The updated, second edition of the book is now available here.) Deepak will also share key insights from his latest project, which involves building an AI agent capable of providing expert advice on any negotiation. He will touch on the nature of expertise (especially as pertains to negotiation), the limits of foundation models to provide proper guidance, and how AI might influence negotiations in the near and long term. Deepak will then take questions from attendees on any topic (e.g., lessons from the book, insights on building expert AI agents, and current world events).
